The London Institute of Tibetan Studies was established in 2010 and since then has been delivering world class conferences, lectures, courses and study materials on a wide range of Tibet related topics, particularly language, medicine, arts, history and culture. More recently we included Insight Tours in our portfolio of activities, where we carefully tailor trips to countries with a strong Buddhist history including Tibet.
We have collaborated with several prestigious organisations in the UK such as the V&A on art conservation courses, SOAS for conferences and lectures, and ASIA House on book launches and presentations.
Most recently we have established a physical base for our activities in the form of Lekdanling Tibetan Cultural Centre in East London in collaboration with the Dzogchen Community UK where we keep our shop and hold events and courses.
